As a business owner and mom, having a routine that works isn’t just nice, it’s necessary. I rely on a handful of apps that support my focus, creativity, and overall well-being throughout the day. These tools help me move through my to-do list, stay in tune with myself, and create space for both structure and ease.
Here are the five apps I use every single day to stay on track, stay inspired, and feel more like myself
ChatGPT
This app is like my on-call creative strategist. I use ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas for blog posts, draft outlines, clarify business ideas, and even pull quick inspiration for meal prep. It’s become one of my go-to tools when I’m feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just want a second opinion without waiting on someone else’s calendar.
It saves me time and helps me work smarter, not harder. Whether I’m planning content or just need to simplify a concept, it’s always one of the first places I go.
BetterMe
BetterMe keeps me accountable when it comes to movement and meals. It’s where I track my workouts and log what I’m eating which helps me stay on top of my health goals without adding more mental clutter. I love the quick workout suggestions that are easy to fit into a busy schedule, especially on days when time is tight and the baby is calling the shots.
It helps me feel like I’m doing something for myself, even if it’s just ten minutes.
Headspace
Meditation has become a small but powerful part of my morning and evening routines. I use Headspace to clear my mind before diving into work and again when I’m winding down. The guided meditations help me stay grounded and shift gears when things feel a little chaotic.
Even a five-minute pause can completely reset my mindset and bring more calm into the day.
Pinterest is where I go to keep my creative brain flowing. I make it a habit to repin ideas to at least half of my boards each day. That quick scroll not only inspires me visually but helps me reconnect with the kind of design and aesthetic I want to bring into my client work.
It’s not just fun, it’s part of how I stay connected to my creative instincts.
Spotify
This might be my most used app of all. I live off of music to get me through the day. I use Spotify from morning to night with lofi playing during breakfast, upbeat music for workouts, playlists for deep focus, and podcasts when I need an extra boost of inspiration.
Spotify helps me set the tone for my day and shift my energy depending on what I need. Whether I’m designing, writing, or just trying to get through a reset moment, there’s a playlist for that.
Why These Apps Made the Cut
None of these tools are about doing more, they’re about supporting how I want to feel throughout my day. These apps make it easier to stay grounded, focused, and creatively fueled, even when life gets busy.
If you’re looking to refine your routine, feel more in control of your schedule, or just need a few tools to help you stay inspired, any of these could be a great place to start.
